Tell me about your favourite drinks and drinking moments.

Share insights about any drink which you feel adds something to the way you experience special occasions or every day life. This could be your morning coffee, the first drink you enjoy after work, or the drink you have to celebrate.

Your experience of drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - provides an important layer to the tapestry of drinking cultures in your community and helps to uncover the reality and relevance of daily rituals to human connection, identity and expression.

Kerrie Lyons is a doctoral student at the University of Southampton in the UK. Her work focuses on gastronomy and drinking cultures and seeks to understand how these shifting cultures continually reshape socialities and identity within localised communities.

In parallel with an academic research career, Kerrie is actively engaged in drinks as a brand marketing and communications consultant in her native Australia and more recently in the UK. She has worked with many beer, spirit and wine brands across Australia and has been a long-time contributor to regional wine industry shows, events, committees and activities.
